Sewing Classes for Adults
Whether you're brand new or just looking to sharpen your skills, we’ve got something for you! We offer private lessons, group classes, and even girls' night in parties where you can get creative in a fun, relaxed setting.
Weekly adult lessons will be starting in August 2026 on Wednesday nights and Friday afternoons!
Come join us for a supportive, welcoming environment where you can learn at your own pace and bring your sewing dreams to life!

Meet Miss Allison
Allison is 27 and has been sewing since she was 8 years old. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 2020 with a degree in fashion design and completed an internship at Kate Spade in NYC after studying fashion abroad in Florence, Italy. She founded Clothing Bar in 2020 as a brick and mortar in Bourbonnais, IL. She later transitioned it to an online boutique upon moving to Naples, FL, in 2022. With 4 years of entrepreneurial experience, Allison now offers sewing classes for kids, believing sewing is an invaluable skill that builds self-confidence and creativity. She is dedicated to teaching and inspiring the next generation! In 2024, Sewing Bar became Ms. Allison’s full-time job — marking the end of Clothing Bar and the beginning of a new chapter fully dedicated to teaching kids the art of sewing. 💕
Meet Cashew
Cashew is our 2-year-old nutty pup who steals hearts at The Sewing Bar! He LOVES welcoming all the kiddos who come through the door and is always ready with tail wags, cuddles, and moral support during sewing projects. 🧵💕
Sewing Studio
Our at-home sewing studio is equipped to accommodate up to 5 students, providing an intimate and focused learning environment. The thoughtfully decorated room is designed to spark creativity, making it the perfect space for you to explore your sewing projects. Whether you’re here for private lessons or a group session, you’ll feel inspired and at ease in this creative and welcoming space.
