Required before enrolling in any future classes

This 1.5-hour beginner class is the perfect starting point for new students eager to learn machine sewing! Kids will get hands-on experience, learn essential sewing skills, and leave with a handmade tote bag and hair scrunchie.

✂️ All supplies, fabric, and machines are provided – just bring your creativity!

Price: $75 per student

2026  Summer Camp Themes:

• Stuffie Sewing Camp – Sew and stuff your own plush animals + accessories including a stuffed dog and stuffed mermaid. 
• Doll Designer Camp – Design and sew outfits for your doll and a matching outfit for yourself, ending with a fashion show. 
• Coastal Cuties Beachy Camp – Sew beach and summer-themed projects a like towel bag and wearable items perfect for the beach.
• Girls Night In Camp – Sew fun sleepover-themed projects like pajama shorts, eye masks, vanity bucket, and more. 
• Back to School Camp – Sew school essentials like pencil pouches, water bottle holders, lanyards and accessories for the new school year.

Weekly and bi-weekly group classes are a major focus for us in 2026, because consistency builds skills. All students enrolled in a weekly or bi-weekly group receive a lesson book written exclusively by Ms. Allison. Each week, students complete a new lesson, tape their sample into their book, and then spend the rest of class working on that month’s project.

Students create everything from tops, skirts, and shorts to fun accessories like water bottle holders, stuffed animals, backpacks, zippered pouches, duffle bags, and even American Girl doll clothes. Projects are thoughtfully designed around holidays and seasonal themes, so kids are always excited about what they’re making—and proud to use it when they’re done. 🧵✨

Please note: Most projects may take more than one class to complete and will be finished over multiple sessions.

In this fun, hands-on class, students will learn the art of appliqué by designing their own unique jean jackets. Students are welcome to bring their own jean jacket or purchase one from The Sewing Bar.
